As a leader of sharp, innovative People functions, I help startups become inspiring workplaces and transformative businesses. I’m excited to help shape the team modernizing the $450 billion dollar home renovation industry as VP of People at Block Renovation.

Before joining Block in May 2023, I spent two incredible years as Head of People at mission-driven fintech Petal. Previously, I established foundational hiring strategies and people programs at Series-B insuretech Jetty, and I played a key role in scaling Squarespace from ~130 to 800+ employees as the second Recruiting hire. I also have experience on the VC side with AlleyCorp, the startup incubator and venture fund behind some of NYC’s most exciting early-stage companies. I started my career in Korn Ferry’s executive search practice.

My work focuses on creating the conditions for groups of individuals to do great work, together. I work to ensure alignment between business objectives, organizational structures, and employee interests. Practically speaking, this means taking a strategic approach to all of our People practices - from values aligned hiring, focused career development, and authentic employee engagement, to fair and progressive policies, well structured processes, and effective communication. I find success when we have the right people in the right roles, and those people are empowered and motivated to act to their full potential.

I'm at my happiest with a packed calendar: learning a little about a lot, improvising in the kitchen, and bringing good vibes to the dance floor. The Aloha Foundation taught me that rewarding work and whimsy can go hand in hand, so I still support them however I can.
