I build exceptional teams.
As a leader of sharp, innovative People functions, I help startups become inspiring workplaces and transformative businesses. I’m excited to be the first Head of People at Middesk, where our team is building the business identity platform to scale trust in B2B relationships.
Before joining Middesk in February 2025, I was Head of People at NYC-based startups Block Renovation, transforming the $500B home renovation industry, and Petal, a mission-driven credit card acquired by Empower. Previously, I established foundational People programs and tripled the team at Series B insuretech Jetty, and I played a key role in scaling Squarespace from ~130 to 850+ employees as a founding member of the People team. I also have experience on the VC side with AlleyCorp, the startup incubator and venture fund behind some of NYC’s most exciting early-stage companies. I started my career in Korn Ferry’s executive search practice.
My work focuses on creating an environment where talented individuals do their best work, together. I love the formative era of the startup experience, when a small team becomes an organization, when cultural norms coalesce, and when the constant pace of change creates incredible opportunities for impact. The Aloha Foundation taught me that rewarding work and whimsy can go hand-in-hand; I still bring a certain Camp Counselor Energy to work.
Personally, I'm happiest with a packed calendar: learning a little about a lot, improvising in the kitchen, and bringing good vibes to the dance floor. I write about specific slices of culture I enjoy in the monthly newsletter Good Things Only.
If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong.
